Description of the meeting and event facilities

The hotel specializes in high-end corporate meeting and incentive business, catering to the most discerning conference delegates. Eleven harbourview function rooms and the InterContinental Ballroom offer 22,626 sq. ft. of meeting space. Recently renovated, the InterContinental Ballroom, which plays host to the city’s most prominent meetings, incentives and events, is the largest pillarless ballroom amongst Hong Kong’s top hotels. Offering the utmost in flexibility, efficiency and state-of-the-art facilities, the InterContinental Ballroom can accommodate up to 1000 persons for a reception or classroom set-up and 740 persons for dinner. The refreshed and contemporary new design is inspired by the hotel’s unique position on Victoria Harbour with the rich imagery of the harbour’s intriguing currents and textures at sunset forming a graphic motif of concentric circles which create “pools of energy”, making this the city’s most auspicious ballroom. The eleven newly renovated harbourview meeting rooms are filled with natural daylight and stunning harbourviews. Each offers personal meeting butler service to ensure that every detail of your conference or meeting is handled with the highest level of service and efficiency.
